As much as I like grounded, well researched and realistic sci-fi, I do have to say that I sometimes miss the more innocent and goofy sci-fi of yesteryear.

Give me form-fitting spacesuits and fishbowl helmets. Give me spaceships that can travel faster than the speed of light with no explanation. Give me pew-pew ray guns and loud explosions in the vacuum of space. But mostly just give me sexy space babes in the spacesuits, I’m fine with just that part.
