Although the day of winter solstice has barely four hours of bright light, we make the most of those four hours. Noon is the best time to stop by the midtown square to grab a nice, freshly baked sugary doughnut from the grill stand, and Perp and Cel are always there waiting in line. It’s a bit of a winter tradition. It might be freezing outside, but those doughnuts make the wait worth it every single time.

Happy holidays, everyone. May you spend yours in the company of friends and loved ones.
