Someone recently reminded me that I never actually got around to drawing color refs for Coco and Truffle, so here they are in all their splendor!

For a little bit of background: Trudy (a.k.a. Truffle) and Colette (a.k.a. Coco) are in fact sisters, born about two years apart to a loving family of five other siblings. With their parents’ attention spread thin between them, they gravitated towards their own interests: namely music, as both of them are part of the horn section in Deaf Sentences, a band that Cel also plays bass for! Truff is a little on the meek side, having put up with bullying all throughout school because of her size, while Coco is confident, steadfast and quick to rise to her sister’s defense when needed.

Both of them are also highly academically proficient: Truff is a few classes short of a Bachelor’s degree in statistics, while Coco is learning to be a programmer. Between classes, band practice and their hobbies (in Coco’s case, sports), their schedules are pretty full to boot, but they manage. Coco’s favorite kind of music is ska (if you haven’t guessed), while Truff prefers progressive jazz.
