Getting between Ao and her book is a bad idea in all respects.

I just realized I never had a chance to do an introduction for Ao here, so this should suffice: Ao is technically a cyborg in that she’s a human brain inhabiting a robotic body, being born with a disease that meant her body never grew much in-utero. She’s lived virtually her entire life connected to her robotic body, swapping them out with age. This same disease affects 10% of the population in her ‘verse.

Naturally curious about her own body, she took to tinkering with it at an early age, making her a robotics whiz kid at barely the age of 9, usually taking part in sports with various modifications to herself to test her own limits. She’s rather introverted and doesn’t like to socialize very much, and generally kind of a grump in most respects. Didn’t stop her from making friends though!
